My Journey in Hockey & Coaching

Hockey has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. From my early days on the ice to coaching teams at various levels, I’ve experienced the game from multiple perspectives. What started as a passion for playing quickly evolved into a deeper love for coaching…either it’s mentoring young athletes, guiding teams to success, or helping professional players unlock their full potential.

Over the years, I’ve worked with youth organizations, high school teams and professional teams, gaining firsthand knowledge of the challenges coaches face. I’ve seen how the right coaching strategies can transform a team—not just in terms of wins and losses, but in developing resilient, confident, and disciplined individuals who carry these values beyond the rink.

Why I Started Coach2Coach

Coaching is more than just drawing plays on a board or running drills—it’s about communication, leadership, and motivation. I founded Coach2Coach because I saw a gap in coaching education, particularly in areas like age-specific coaching techniques, effective messaging, and athlete development strategies. While there are many resources for learning the X’s and O’s, there’s far less guidance on how to coach, how to connect with players, and how to adapt coaching styles for different age groups and personalities.

My goal is to bridge that gap by providing practical, real-world coaching education—whether through in-person training, seminars, or exclusive online content. Every coach, whether new to the game or a seasoned veteran, should have access to tools that make them more effective leaders and mentors.
